The quickest way to ID check a client: no selfie or document scan needed, yet it still meets Joint Money Laundering Steering Group requirements.

A great alternative to the Standard check when you need photo verification. Your client is emailed, photographs their passport or driving licence, takes a selfie and confirms their home address. They can also upload extra documents such as bank statements (kept for your reference, not validated). We check the address, test the selfie is "live", match it to the document photo, screen for sanctions and PEPs, and run an Amberhill check against the Metropolitan Police's known-forgery passport records.

For businesses that are registered as an ACSP. Your client is emailed and completes a photo ID and selfie check on TrustID's specialist platform. You then record the check in your own ACSP portal to confirm to Companies House that you have identified them, so your client only needs to be checked once. Useful even outside an HR department. A standard identity check with PEP and sanctions screening, plus insolvency and CCJ checks, and a Companies House check for directorships. Add bank account details (optional) and the report confirms they are correct, ideal before setting up salary or wage payments.

Similar to the KYC Selfie but without proof of address, as overseas address checks are not possible through this system. If the passport has a biometric chip, the optional biometric check reads it, reducing the likelihood of a fraudulent passport. You will need to verify the address by other means, but you can see photos of your client and get PEP and sanctions screening.
